Tonto Dikeh: Actress receives chieftaincy title; 'Adadioranma 1 of Nollywood'

Tonto Dike is the latest Nollywood actor to receive a chieftaincy title.

Tonto Dikeh has been honoured with a chieftaincy title, Adadiora 1 of Nollywood.

The Ikwere born actress took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself during the coronation.

She, however, didn't reveal the date or venue of the event.

The actress joins other Nollywood actors with chieftaincy titles such as Genevieve Nnaji, Chika Ike and Oge Okoye.

 

The actress has a degree in Petrochemical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

In 2005, she kicked off her acting career after competing in the reality TV show "The Next Movie Star;" which she emerged as the first runner-up.

She came into the limelight following her role in the movie "Holy Cross," which starred her alongside Nonso Diobi, Pete Edochie and Jim Iyke.

 

Tonto Dikeh is popular for her role in movies like "My Life, My Damage," "Dirty Secret," "Before the Rain," "Missing Child" among others.

Tonto Dike will next be seen in the upcoming drama, "Celebrity Marriage," alongside Odunlade Adekola and Toyin Aimakhu.
