Super Eagles: Serbia, Poland select Lewandoski, Matic for friendlies against Nigeria

The Super Eagles will play preparatory matches in March against Poland, Serbia

Poland and Serbia have included Robert Lewandowski and Nemanja Matic in their respective teams to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the upcoming friendlies.

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr earlier revealed a list of 28 players invited to face Poland and Serbia on Friday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 27 respectively.

The opposing nations have also released their teams for the forthcoming friendlies.

The Polish national team has called up star players Lewandoski of Bayern Munich and Wojciech Szczęsny of Juventus.

The Serbian team list includes star players Dusan Tadic of Southampton and Matic of Manchester United.

 

Poland will also face South Korea in a friendly game while Serbia will play Morocco before the clash against the Super Eagles.
