Funke Abisogun Alhassan: Late actress' baby naming ceremony holds amid, downhearted family, and friends

Late Funke Alhassan's baby naming ceremony has taken place with friends and family showing despite the tragedy that befell the family.

The naming ceremony for the baby of the late Yoruba Nollywood actress, Funke Abisogun Alhassan has been held in Ibadan, Oyo state.

The event which was organized by the husband of the deceased and popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Taofeek Alhassan Abisogun, was attended by family and friends. The event which was supposed to be a very joyful event, was indeed a solemn event as friends and family members who turned out all looked gloomy.

 

Despite the atmosphere surrounding the birth of the baby boy, he was named, Ridwannullahi Olayinka Amobi Damilare Enitan Ayodeji Al-Hassan Abisogun.

It would be recalled that Funke Abisogun Alhassan passed away, few days after giving birth to a baby boy. Her husband, Taofiq Alhassan had announced a few days earlier that she had given birth. He had taken to his Instagram page to announce the good.

However a few days later, a friend of the actress, Tunde Ola Yusuf announced the sad demise of the actress.

Just days ago, people celebrated with you for the delivery of Ur baby, now the Sunset at noon and U are no more...

May God look after the newborn child and give Ur husband, the family, friends of the family and the industry at large the fortitude to bear the loss.

This is coming five months after another Yoruba Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya reportedly died of cardiac arrest two months after she gave birth to a baby girl in March in Canada.
