Love Knows No Bounds: 19-yr-old Nigerian man marries 58-yr-old British granny

The young Seun and his older British wife

A young Nigerian has shown that when it comes to love, age does not matter with his marriage to a British grandmother.

When the late American R&B artist, Aaliyah released the song 'Age Ain't Nothing but a Number' in 1994, she must have had this 19-year-old Nigerian boy identified as Seun, in mind as he has shown by getting married his 58-year-old British fiancee.

The photos of the young chap getting married to United States-based British woman who is a grandmother, at his family home in Ekiti State, has been setting the Internet on fire with many Nigerians believing the Seun is just using the woman to get his papers that would enable him to live in the United Kingdom legally.

The marriage, however, seems to have the blessings of Seun's family as they were said to attend the colourful traditional marriage and white wedding not the criticism by many people in the Ado-Ekiti community.

It was gathered that Seun met the woman on the Internet and started a relationship with her which has now culminated into the blissful marriage and he is about to join his wife in Europe in the next few weeks.

This is not the first time young Nigerian men have latched on to older women who are either widowed, divorced or lonely enough to take the bold step of flying into the country to get married to them.
