Yemi Alade: Singer throws 'Wakanda' themed birthday party (Photos)

Yemi Alade threw a lavish themed birthday party over the weekend and had in attendance a number of celebrities

Yemi Alade celebrated her birthday over the weekend with a 'Wakanda' themed party.

The party which took place at the Ember Creek in Lagos saw some friends and associates of the sexy singer in attendance.

The 'Wakanda' themed party was inspired by the blockbuster movie 'Black Panther' which has become a movement. Among guests who not only showed up for the event but came dressed in the themed attire were, IK Osagioduwa, Chioma Akpotha, Beverly Osu, Denrele Edun, Praiz, Soma of BBN season 2 and a host of others.

Yemi Alade is the latest celebrity to throw a big birthday party and have in attendance a number of A-list celebrities in attendance.

 

Just before Yemi's big birthday bash, we all remember how Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde's birthday celebration became a festival. It was so big, it stretched for five days, with the grand event and themed dinner ball, #Omotola4point0 held at the Landmark Event Center, Lagos.

 

We also can't forget about the very first celebrity birthday party of the year which was that of Mercy Aigbe. The beautiful actress celebrated her birthday in grand style and also had a number of celebrities come show her some love.

 

Even though the celebration was marred by the famous 'Red Dress' scandal, Mercy  Aigbe was able to pull an amazing party. A major high point of the birthday party was the reunion between former celebrity couple, Saheed and Fathia Balogun. The couple danced together and Saheed sprayed his ex-wife some cool cash which received a lot of ovation from other guests at the event.
