Gotze, Schurrle: German players enjoy international break with partners on a yacht
Following their exclusion from the German national team, Gotze and Schurrle spent some quality time with their partners.
German players Mario Gotze and Andre Schurrle are enjoying the international break with their partners Ann Kathrin and Anna Sharapova on a yacht in Mallorca, Spain.
Both Gotze and Schurrle made their debuts for the German national team in 2010 in the same game against Sweden.
The two stars were also part of the all-conquering team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, with Gotze scoring the winning goal of the tournament to give Germany the coveted trophy.
Still in their 20’s both Schurrle and Gotze are not part of Joachim Low’s team for the upcoming UEFA Nations League game against reigning World Champions France on Thursday, September 6.
Schurrle now plays for Premier League outfit Fulham while Gotze has returned to Borussia Dortmund after being unable to break into the Bayern Munich set up.
Gotze’s wife Ann Kathrin and Schurrle’s girlfriend Sharapova both went for a for a dip in the seas from their luxurious boat.
While Sharapova wore a white bikini with black trim, Kathrin was in a purple bikini outfit.
Gotze scored 17 goals in 63 appearances, while Schurrle has 22 strikes in a total of 57 appearances.
