Cardi B: Rapper charged after getting into a fight at a strip club [Photos]

Cardi B pays an unusual visit to the police station after she was summoned for causing a fight at a strip club in New York.

Cardi B has been charged by the New York Police Department after getting involved in a fight at a strip club.

According to Guardian, the platinum rapper was charged after agreeing to meet with investigators at a police station on Monday October 1, 2018, in the city’s Queens borough. Afterward, she left with a smile but declined to comment.

“We are aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm from that night. We expect the matter to be resolved expeditiously," her lawyer, Jeff Kern, told reporters. Police say Cardi B and her entourage were at a club around 3 am Saturday when she got into an argument with a 23-year-old woman who was bartending.

 

They say a fight broke out during which chairs, bottles, and hookah water pipes were thrown, slightly injuring the bartender and another employee. According to the police, Cardi and her team fled after the incident but she later agreed to turn in to the police after the bartender at the strip club Identified her.

 

This is coming barely a few weeks after Cardi B was involved in an altercation with Nicki Minaj at the New York Fashion Week. An incident that left Cardi B with a bruised face.

One of the highlights of the New York Fashion Week in September was a short brawl between rappers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B who exposed her butt while trying to attack the other. The latter reportedly approached Minaj to confront her about spreading false stories about her.

 

Nicki Minaj's comments about her not being a good mother have been listed as one of the reasons for the drama. Cardi B who is 25 years old is a new mum having delivered a child in July 2018, for rapper Offset.
