Felabration Day 1: Remi Aluko, Dotman thrill fans

The day opened up to a lecture by eminent personalities like Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie and Professor Akin Oyebode.

On Monday, October 14, 2019, the annual week-long celebration of the life and times of prime Nigerian legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti commenced at the New Afrika Shrine.

As is usual, performances were involved from Fuji singer, Remi Aluko, singer Dotman, Trod, Picazo Rhap, Zeenolesky, and Yomi Blaize

The day started with a talk at Neca Hall. The topic of discussion was, 'Teacher don't teach me nonsense .' The panel was Ugandan singer and politician, Bobi Wine, Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie, Professor Wole Soyinka, and British rapper, Akala.
