BON 2019: Gov Ganduje promises to make history with movie awards
Governor Ganduje of Kano is set to make history with the 10th edition of Best Of Nollywood.
Ahead of the 10th edition of the Best Of Nollywood Awards, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has promised to make history with the movie awards.
On Wednesday, December 4, the governor unveiled the right to host the movie awards ceremony in Kano state.

During the presentation of the certificate to Ganduje by Seun Oloketuyi, the Chief Executive of Officer of BON, the state governor said, “We’re are excited that Best of Nollywood is taking here and this is history in the making for the good people of Kano State.”
Also in attendance at the presentation were Ali Nuhu, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, and Segun Arinze.
Oloketuyi had announced in November 2019 that Kano will be playing host to movie stars on December 14 for the 2019 edition of Best of Nollywood Awards.
Speaking to Pulse, Oloketuyi said automobile brand, Peugeot, airline brand, Max Air and LaCasera have thrown their weight behind the awards.
The organisers of Best Of Nollywood, BON, awards will also be honouring Nollywood veterans, Sadiq Daba, Mama Rainbow, and Ngozi Ezeonu at the 2019 edition.
Kannywood star, Maryam Booth and comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka will be hosting the 10th edition in Kano.
