But the 24-year-old has returned to training and could feature for Stoke City in their Boxing Day home clash against Sheffield on Thursday, December 26, 2019.

First of all on Friday night we had the issue of Ryan Woods and Peter Etebo both being ill,” Michael O’Neill said while explaining Etebo’s absence from their last game.

Peter and Ryan were back in training over the weekend and trained with the squad today, as did Ryan Shawcross.”

Etebo’s return is a huge boost for Stoke City who are currently bottom on 18 points in the 24-team Championship league table.
