Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu makes Belgian league’s Team of the Week after scoring for Genk
Onuachu kicked off the 2020/2021 league season in Belgium with a goal.
Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has been named in the Belgian Pro League Team of the Week following his goal-scoring appearance for Genk in the opening matchday of the 2020/2021 season.
Onuachu came off the bench to open the scoring for Genk in their 2-1 away win against Zulte-Waregem at the Rainbow Stadium on Sunday, August 10, 2020.
His 73rd-minute goal was an equaliser for Genk who went on to win the game. He also played a part in the penalty which Genk scored their winning goal from through another Nigerian Cyriel Dessers.
Onuachu is in his second season with Genk and will be hoping to score more than the nine goals he had in his debut season.
