Ondo PDP delegates arrive for congress

Delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ondo have started arriving the Solton International Hotel, venue of its state congress.

The party had earlier scheduled the congress for March 24 but postponed it indefinitely following prohibition of political gathering over coronavirus pandemic.

Those vying for the position of the chairman are Hon Fatal Adams and Arole Dennis Alonge.

Adams is the state Deputy Chairman of the PDP and a former member of the House of Assembly while Alonge was a former National Youth Leader of the party.

Voting is expected to commence by delegates from Ondo Central senatorial district.
