ZLP unveils Ajayi’s running mate Monday

The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) would unveil Gboye Adegbenro as running mate to its governorship candidate, Hon Agboola Ajayi on Monday.

Also, former Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Yekini Olanipekun, has denied eyeing the ZLP governorship slot.

Olanipekun said he is not a member of ZLP and never sought to run under the party’s platform.

His words “I am not part of ZLP. I didn’t lobby and never discussed with anybody that I want to be running mate on ZLP.

But State Chairman of ZLP, Hon Joseph Akinlaja, on Sunday night confirmed Adegbenro as the party’s choice for a running mate.

He said Adegbenro would be announced on Monday.
