On October 28, 2020, American-born Nigerian rapper, Tobe Nwigwe absolutely aced his maiden performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. The 33-year-old rapper who merges Christian and conscious topics into critically-acclaim has released seven bodies of work in just four years.
His last album, The Pandemic Project was both well-received and critically-acclaimed. At the BET Awards, he performed his songs, 'Try Jesus' which was on 'The Pandemic Project' and 'Eat' featuring FAT. The same event which saw Burna Boy ace his performance of 'Monsters You Made' with Chris Martin was done virtually.
