Daddy Freeze: 'No man of God in Nigeria deserves your tithes' - OAP

Daddy Freeze

This controversial On Air Personality has called on Nigerians to stop paying tithes as no man of God in the country deserves getting them.

On-Air Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, the one popularly known as Daddy Freeze, is sure not a fan of prophets and men of God in Nigeria as he has come out again with another damning verdict that they are not deserving of collecting tithes from their members.

The controversial radio host and presenter with Cool FM who has always been at loggerheads with Pastors who live flamboyant lifestyles who constantly stress on offerings, sowing of seeds and tithing during sermons, took to his Twitter handle and Instagram account to advise Nigerians to stop giving tithes because no Nigerian Prophet, Pastor or GO qualifies to receive their tithes.

Quoting the Bible copiously to justify his assertion, Daddy Freeze said tithes were only meant for the Levites who were the descendants of Levi, one of the sons of Jacob since they were not allowed to own anything like houses or lands and were prevented from working, unlike most Nigerian men of God who own private jets.

Daddy Freeze went on to point out that tithes were meant to be paid once in every three years, unlike the practice where church members are made to pay every month.

Read what the OAP wrote:

"No Nigerian prophet or pastor or GO qualifies to receive your tithes!

Tithes were only meant for the Levites who were descendants of Levi, son of Jacob and Leah, no one else! These Levites are still around in Israel today.

Levites were not allowed to own anything, not houses, not lands or cars and DEFINITELY NOT PRIVATE JETS!

The tithes were only paid once every 3 years in the year of the tithe; Deut 14:27; NOT EVERY MONTH!

Only 10% of the tithe was meant for the temple; Nehemiah 10:38; the rest was meant for the sick, homeless, strangers, widows and orphans NOT PASTORS!

The tithe was never money, IT WAS FOODSTUFF!

The tithe was meant to be eaten with our families in the house of God.

It is biblical to sell your tithe and buy beer and drink in the house of God. Deut 14:26

Deuteronomy 14:[22]: You must set aside a tithe of your crops - one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year.

[23] Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship - the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored, and eat it there in his presence.

This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.

[24] Now when the LORD your God blesses you with a good harvest, the place of worship he chooses for his name to be honored might be too far for you to bring the tithe.

[25] If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds, put the money in a pouch, and go to the place the LORD your God has chosen.

[26] When you arrive, you may use the money to buy any kind of food you want - cattle, sheep, goats, wine, beer or other alcoholic drink. Then feast there in the presence of the LORD your God and celebrate with your household.

[27] And do not neglect the Levites in your town, for they will receive no allotment of land among you.

This is not the first time Daddy Freeze has tackled men of God in Nigeria whom he sees as fleecing their congregation while they and their families live large, driving in flashy cars and flying in their personal private jets.

He has, on several occasions, battled the likes of Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Apostle Johnson Suleman, and other prominent men of God in Nigeria over their flamboyant lifestyles, often advising them to do more for their members instead of collecting from them.
