Friday "Okaka De Don" Ugwu: Actor killed in vehicle accident in Lagos

The driver of a trailer lost control of his vehicle and ran into the actor and his company killing them on the spot.

Actor, Friday Ugwu who is also known as Okaka De Don based on his role in a movie of the same title has been reported dead.

The deceased died in an accident that occurred on Friday, September 22, 2017, along the Lagos-Badagry highway.

According to the Daily Post News, the Ugwu was riding with company when a trailer driver lost control of his vehicle and crushed them.

Gideon Ameh, an official of the Benue state chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria confirmed the report. He added that the corpse of the actor has been submitted at a mortuary while his killer is already in police custody.

The late actor was shot into popularity based on his role in "Okaka De Don", a movie he produced and also played the lead role.
