Sweet Death: Alleged married lovers found dead in car

A man and a woman were found dead in a car near a police station in Lagos.

Two unidentified lovers were this morning, Sunday, October 29, 2017, found dead in a car.

The car was parked on the road beside the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and Area G police command in Ogba, Lagos.

The bodies of the man and woman were found in a Toyota Camry with the license plate EPE79CJ. Both of them were half naked when found by passers-by.

 

According to an eyewitness report who spoke to Pulse, the AC and the engine of the car were still on when they were found. The car was later moved inside the premises of Area G police command.

Shortly after, the wife the man in the car came to the station to confirm if her husband was truly dead. Also, the husband of the woman rushed to the hospital. He was left in a state of shock and confusion to find his wife in the car.

Speaking on the phone to a friend, the man said he was at work last night and didn't come home till this morning. He didn't meet his wife at home. After trying her number a couple of times he gave up. Shortly after, he received a call from his wife's line.

The call was a policeman who told him to come to the station to see his wife. In a twist of events, the man who was found dead in the car was a friend of the woman's husband.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the woman was having an affair with her husband's friend.

The bodies of the alleged lovers were taken to the mortuary in the same car they died in.
