Anambra poll: Obiano in early lead

Governor Willie Obiano, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is in  early lead out of the 10 local government election results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The APGA candidate is being trailed by Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Oseloka Obaze of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Njikoka, Dunukofia, Awka South, Ayamelum, Anocha, Orumba South, Ekusigo, Aguata, Onitsha North and Ogbaru.

Results of 11 LGAs are yet to be announced.
