Diego Costa: Former Chelsea player still has no love for Antonio Conte

Diego Costa won two Premier League titles during his time at Chelsea.

Former Chelsea player Diego Costa still has no love for Italian manager Antonio Conte, according to a recent post.

Costa played under Conte at Chelsea as they won the Premier League in the 2016/17 season, but had a falling out before his return to Spain.

Chelsea travelled to face Barcelona in a round of 16 UEFA Champions League clash, after the first leg ended 1-1.

The Spanish International showed support for his former teammates on a post on his official Instagram story.

Costa posted a picture of his teammate’s lineup but covered the name of the Italian manager.

 

The duo had a spat in the summer of 2017 when the Italian manager sent a text to Chelsea which ended his time at Chelsea.

The 27-year-old moved back to Atletico Madrid but the striker is still not on good terms with his former manager.

Costa was replaced by Alvaro Morata who was recruited from Real Madrid, but could not save Chelsea as they were eventually dumped out by Barcelona.

 

Lionel Messi scored two and set up Ousmane Dembele as Barcelona emerged 3-0 winners at the Camp Nou.

Former Chelsea player Frank Lampard argued in a post match punditry discussion that the London based side needed the services of the Spanish International against Barcelona.
