Super Eagles: Here are the 28 players invited for the friendlies against Poland and Serbia

Gernot Rohr has finally revealed a list of 28 players or the Super Eagles friendlies against Poland and Serbia

Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has invited 28 players for the upcoming friendly games against Serbia and Poland.

The German tactician has invited players with experience and a mixture of youth, as there are some newcomers in the list.

Moses Simon who was injured while playing for his clubside and Ogenyi Onazi who just recovered from injuries have earned call ups to the Super Eagles team,.

The duo are invited after they both missed the last qualifier against Algeria and international friendly against Argentina.

 

Three members of the Home-based Super Eagles team that lost 4 - 0 in the final of the African Nations Championship have been included by Gernot Rohr.

Captain at the tournament Ikechukwu Ezenwa, as well as Gabriel Okechukwu of Akwa United, and Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Stephen Eze were all invited.

19-year-old Francis Uzoho joins Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi in the goalkeeping section.

The lists sees a return for defender Kenneth Omeruo, while as earlier reported Joel Obi is handed a recall to the Super Eagles since 2015.

John Ogu and Chidozie Awaziem who celebrated their call ups to the Super Eagles on social media are on the list, Las Palmas midfielder Oghenkaro Etebo as well as Al Ahly of Egypt’s Junior Ajayi who represented Nigeria at the 2016 Olympic Games

Venue for the Super Eagles friendlies

The Super Eagles will take on Poland on Friday, March 23 at the Wroclaw stadium, which has a capacity of 43,000.

Gernot Rohr's men will than take on their Serbian counterparts on Tuesday, March 27 at the The Hive stadium in London.
