Super Eagles: NFF say official jerseys not available yet, fake being sold

The new Super Eagles jerseys were released by Nike in February 2018.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has come out to say that the newly unveiled Super Eagles jerseys are not available yet as all stocks being purchased are fake.

The Super Eagles players have been seen wearing the new outfits on their various social media platforms, which has prompted some football loving Nigerians to enquire about the availability of the new kits.

The football body have hence come out to clarify to those who want the jerseys that they will be notified when the original merchandise are available so as not to purchase substandard products.

 

The NFF made the clarification via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles which said, “Our new 2018 kit by @Nike are not yet available on sale. As soon as they are, we will let you know.”

“Everything currently being advertised and sold now is fake. Support the Super Eagles, buy original.”

The statement describes merchandise been sold as fake, and urges Nigerian football supporters to be patient for the official release of the jerseys.

 

International kit makers Nike released the official kits of the Super Eagles in February 2018 which caused massive reactions on social media.

The Super Eagles will wear their new kits when they face Poland on Friday, March 23 and also against Serbia on Tuesday, March 27.
