Welcome to volume 86 of 'Who Get Ear,' Pulse's weekly list of the song you need to play.
Last week was amazing and the weekend saw Nigeria's biggest music celebration hold at Eko Hotels and Suites. On volume 85, we also feature acts like Elveeqtor, USNAI, Ilaye, Kelvin BOJ and so forth.
This week, we feature Yoco Jay, Johson IP, Oludasa, Mojeed, Alpha and so forth.
You can check the list below;
Yoco Jay – Public Service Announcement
Yoco Jay is an African artist and rap is his art. Currently working on a "remix" mixtape under Daniel David's No Intro Entertainment, 'PSA' addresses Nigerian. It is also a cover of Kizz Daniel's 'Fvck You.'
Johnson IP featuring Manuel Cole – Run It
One of the picks of the week, this is a magical number from Johnson IP and Manuel Cole. The song is an ode to weed smoking and counter culture. This beat is mad.
Oludasa – The Coming
This is a very Nigerian rap song with an empirical take. The beat is thumping and infectious, but Oludara matches it after initially stuttering through it. This guy has talent and he carries Mushin, Lagos on his back.
Mojeed – Come Alive
Mojeed Amushan is a Nigerian based in New York, United States. The song is a R&B which caters to love, life, Nigeria and growth.
Alpha - Pop
You can stream the song HERE.
Alpha's album, CHVMELEON is due to drop soon. The 14-track second album, which follows 2018's Half Price sees a first single and it is good.
D.S.6 featuring SamvsTheKids and Drillo – Pull Up
This is eerie trap music with well-arranged drums. Like beasts, these rappers eat it all up like a plate of noodles.
Boye The Genius – Stars On Earth
A trap bounce laced with intellectual bars. This will make you think.
GoodGirl LA featuring Tommy Lee Sparta – Bless Me (Remix)
GoodGirl LA is the talented vocalist who is definitely making people take notice. 'Bless Me' is a Headies nominated sentimental ballad about dreams of the good life. This is one of the two brand new remixes to the song. This one features Jamaican act, Tommy Lee Sparta.
The other features Ghanaian, Kuami Eugene.
Tommy Thomas – Wake N Bake
Make no mistake, this is by no means about cocaine. This is about love-drunk sex.
Ditweni – Tire Me
Ditweni has been having none of the beef and this is his bit.
