The Nigerian central defensive partnership fared well in the game although they still conceded a goal which came from a freekick.
Awaziem was taken off in the second of the game while Omeruo played the whole 90 minutes.
Azeez Vs Chukwueze
Two Nigerian players Ramon Azeez and Samuel Chukwueze clashed at the Los Carmenes where Granada lost 1-0 to visiting Villarreal.
Both players started from the bench and were introduced in the second half.
Azeez was introduced in the 61st minute while Chukwueze came on for Villarreal in the 65th minute.
