Dr. Dre answers wife's divorce petition, says there's a prenup

The hip hop mogul is worth $800M.

American rapper, Dr Dre has responded to the divorce petition filed by his wife, Nicole Young.

According to TMZ, the music mogul in his response says there is a prenuptial agreement, which governs the division of their property.

When the news of their divorce first broke, there were indications that the two had not signed a prenup agreement.

Nicole Young filed the paperwork for their divorce on Monday, June 29, 2020, citing the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the hip-hop mogul.

The couple got married in 1996 and are blessed with two adult children, Triuce and Truly.

Young was formerly married to NBA player, Sedale Threatt, and is a trained lawyer.
