Will Smith is letting fans in on some of his struggles in a newly announced 'Will Smith: Best Shape of my Life' documentary series.

In a first-look teaser, the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' actor opens up about his mental health, hinting on the time he considered suicide.

The six-part YouTube Original series which debuts on November 8, will see Smith document his weight loss journey and completing his anticipated memoir.

The synopsis reads: "But what emerges is a Will Smith that you've NEVER seen before. A Will Smith who realises that what he needs to work on most is his mental health."

In one of the trailer clips, Smith says: "When I started this show, I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life physically, but mentally I was somewhere else.

"I ended up discovering a whole lot of hidden things about myself… Now I'm about to show the world how little I know about myself."

The star actor's personal life has been a topic of social media interest following the 2020 infidelity scandal involving wife, Jada Pinkett.

Smith also recently made headlines following Pinkett's viral statement about the challenges of staying faithful in their marriage. The 50-year-old has since countered the reports.
