Born in Bariga, Lagos Nigeria, Adewale Mueez Adekoya aka Da Great started music professionally at the age of 17 and draws inspiration from legendary acts such as Fela, Asa , Tpain, 2 Face, Wande Coal among countless other notable acts in Africa and across the globe.
Da Great was unveiled in 2021 by Do or Die Entertainment, a music label and talent management company based in Lagos and owned by female music mogul Ruth Adjaloko Danmola.
