Dami Elebe is Showmax's new head writer for Nigerian series 'Flawsome 2'
The popular series is headed for its production stage in the nearest days.
Nigerian screenwriter Dami Elebe has been announced as the head writer for African Magic Viewer's Choice Awards (AMVCA) winning series, Flawsome.
In June 2023, viewers received news of Showmax's popular series Flawsome, receiving a go-ahead for a second season. The 13-part Nigerian drama series told the story of four women's personal and professional lives. Ifeyinwa, Ramota, Ivie and Dolapo had their home and work life filled with flaws but were kept strong by the unbreakable friendship they shared.
Created and directed by Tola Odunsi, Flawsome season two already looks promising with the addition of Dami Elebe to the team, which was announced by Shockng in a recent post. Dami confirms the announcement with a repost on her Twitter page, she is known for her thrilling works on other projects like Skinny Girl In Transit, Rumor Has It and the Netflix series Far From Home.
The Showmax original is yet to confirm if the main cast for the four friends by name, Bisola Ayieola, Sharon Ooja, Ini Dima-Okojie and Enado Odigie has been changed. So, it is safe for lovers of the series to anticipate the return of their favourite actresses to their screens.
Flawsome season one was released on November 10, 2022, and it ran through till February 2, 2023. It also gathered four nominations in the African Magic Viewers' Choice Awards 2023, for Best Actress in a Drama, Movie or TV Series, Best Lightning Design, Best Cinematography and Best Television Series.
Excitement is in the air as all anticipate Dami Elebe's angle to telling the story of these four friends faced with various challenges that they must wiggle out through.
