El Marino elects new team manager, holds U.I All Stars to 1-1

El Marino Sports Club, Lagos, has elected a new executive committee to steer the affairs of the club in the next one year.

The election of the new executive committee was part of the activities of the club’s 2016 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place in Ibadan recently.

As part of the activities during the polls, the club played a friendly game against U.I All Stars, which ended in a 1-1 draw at the football pitch of the Polytechnic Ibadan.

During the keenly contested election, Mr. Seyi Adefarati was elected as the new Team Manager to take over from Mr. Martins Isoje, who was the Team Manager of the club for the last two years.

Other members of the new executive committee of the club include, Adelokun Lawal (Secretary General), Igho Obajuwana (Financial Secretary), Uchechi Okere (Provost), Benjamin Ogbekhilu (Welfare Officer), Chris Anazia (Team Captain) and Edirin Yugbovre (Auditor)

Commenting on his election, the new Team Manager, Seyi Adefarati, commended members of the club for confidence reposed in him and promised to provide the desired leadership, which will help realise the objectives of the club.
