Mohammed Salah: Liverpool star not happy as Premier League add to Harry Kane's goal tally
Mohammed Salah has 29 Premier League goals this season.
Liverpool star Mohammed Salah is unhappy with the Premier League's decision to award Tottenham's Harry Kane with a goal which closes the gap between the them.
The Premier League awarded Harry Kane with a goal after he appealed that a shot by teammates Christian Eriksen touched him on its way to the back of the net.
A statement on the league website said, "Harry Kane has been awarded Tottenham Hotspur’s second goal in their 2-1 win against Stoke City on Saturday, after the club and player successfully appealed to the Premier League’s Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel."
"The goal had originally been awarded on the day to Christian Eriksen, but after taking the player’s testimony into account and reviewing the match footage, a three-person panel agreed that the final touch on the ball belonged to Kane."
After the decision it means that Harry Kane now has 25 Premier League goals in 2017/18, four less than Salah.
Salah however is not happy with the development, as he took to his Twitter account to say, "Wooooooow really ?"
As a result of the decision, Salah now holds a four goal lead over Kane with Liverpool having just five more games to play while Tottenham have six.
