Strange Things: Stray dogs maul ex-governor's 2-yr-old grandson to death
The child was rescued by neighbours and rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Former Kenyan governor, Nderitu Gachagua, has lost his two-yr-old grandson to a stray dog that mauled him to death at his residence.
Punch reports that the young boy had been playing outside the home of Gachagua when six stray dogs from a neighbouring compound reportedly attacked him.
According to the reports, the child was rescued by neighbours and rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Kenya's Nation reports that the case has already been taken to the police by members of the family.
Nderitu Gachagua died of pancreatic cancer in February 2017 while receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
Gachagua was reportedly the first governor to die while in office and was accorded a state burial in a ceremony attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader, Raila Odinga.
