Tiemoue Bakayoko: Chelsea midfielder crashes his N72M Mercedes in car accident

Tiemoue Bakayoko is having problems driving on the left-hand side in London.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko crashed his N72M (£150,000) Mercedes in a car accident while returning from training on Thursday, September 21.

Bakayako who just arrived Chelsea this summer from Monaco had the accident just a few minutes after leaving Chelsea’s Cobham training ground at 4:40 pm.  

 

In a statement, Police revealed that the player did not suffer any injury which means that he will be available for Chelsea’s Premier League clash at Stoke this weekend.

“Surrey Police attended Blundel Lane in Oxshot around 4.40pm following a one vehicle collision,” the police said.

“The driver did not suffer any injuries. There were delays for drivers while the vehicle awaited recovery.”

The 23-old midfielder who joined Chelsea this summer from Monaco is still struggling with driving in England.

His brother had previously revealed that the France international does not like driving on the left side of the road.

 

“Tiemoue told me he wasn't allowing himself to drive because he thinks it's too crazy driving on the left! But he'll get round to it,” the midfielder’s brother said.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte also confirmed was not hurt in the crash and will be fit for the trip to Stoke City.
