Anthony Joshua Vs Carlos Takam: Time of fight and where to watch it

Nigerian-born Anthony Joshua will on Saturday, October 28 take on Cameroonian-born Carlos Takam to defend his WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles.

The fight will hold at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Boxing enthusiasts in Nigeria have been asking questions about time of the bout and where to watch it.

 

Time: The event will start at about 8: pm on Saturday, but undercard bouts and other side attraction mean that the main bout will not start until 10: pm.

The game will be shown live on Kwese Free Sports.

Joshua, Takam weigh in

Ahead of the bout, the two fighters weighed in at the Motorpoint Arena with Joshua the heaviest at 18st 2lb. That’s the heaviest the 28-year-old has also weighed in his career.

 

His opponent Takam weighed 16st 11.5lb.

Joshua’s weight was a shock to everyone including himself and his promoter Eddie Hearn. 

“I don't know what's happened. I've been starving myself. I've trained hard so maybe it's the extra running. Maybe I'm filling out naturally as I'm getting older,” the 28-year-old said.
