Ryan Reynolds, who reprises his role as the titular character in the sequel, has released the first footage of the superhero in action as the loved art icon Bob Ross.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, "Deadpool" features Ryan Reynolds as a disfigured and unstable mercenary, Wade Wilson, who was subjected to an experiment that had hoped to cure his cancer by receiving a regenerative healing factor, but instead ended in a disastrous result.
Tim Miller, who helmed the first box office blockbuster left the sequel due to “creative differences” with Reynolds.
According to the report by Deadline, Miller’s departure was amicable, and he will direct Fox's film adaptation of Daniel Suarez’s sci-fi thriller "Influx."
The first film starred Reynolds alongside Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Andre Tricoteux, and Leslie Uggams.
It grossed $782m worldwide on a $58m budget.
