Super Eagles: NFF have identified two camps in Russia for 2018 FIFA World Cup

The camps identified have been communicated to world football governing body, FIFA.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Super Eagles technical crew have identified two camps in Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are among the 32 countries that will compete at the 2018 World Cup and have been seeded in Pot 4 ahead of the draw.

Ahead of the World Cup, the technical crew led by Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr during the international break went on a scouting trip in Russia and have identified two training camp for the Super Eagles.

The Super Eagles were in Russia where they played Argentina in a friendly game on Tuesday, November 14.

After arriving in Krasnodar on Saturday, officials of the NFF Technical officials went on a scouting trip and have identified two camps.

The camps have been communicated to world football governing body, FIFA.

A final site would be selected out of the two after inspection and approval by the technical crew led by Coach Gernot Rohr,” second Vice-President of NFF Shedu Dikko is quoted to say on the federation’s website.

This is in furtherance of our commitment to ensuring there are no issues outstanding that could constitute distraction before the World Cup.

 

“All plans for the World Cup are on course and a number of high profile preparatory matches have also been agreed, subject to the Final Draw on 1st December. The entire program would be unveiled after the Draw.”

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been seeded in Pot 4 ahead of the 2018 World Cup draw on Friday, December 1.
