Kabir Gbemisola: Oil mogul opens 2 ultra-modern retail stations
Following the demise of the founder of Fatgbems Petroleum, his son is taking the bull by the horn by expanding the company.
Oil magnate of international repute, Kabir Gbemisola, the son of the founder of Fatgbems Petroleums, Chief Abdul Fatai Gbemisola who died five years ago, has opened two ultra-modern retail stations.
Gbemisola who stapped into the shoes vacated by his late father and has been keeping the oil firm which is one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous independent petroleum marketing companies afloat, commissioned the stations in the Awoyaya area of Ajah in Lagos State and Adedotun area in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to the oil mogul's media team, opening the new stations was a way of the company's goals of expanding its value chain and optimizing its customer base.
"The commissioning of the stations were part of the Fatgbems Group fulfilling company’s brand promise of optimizing our customer base," the statement stated.
Continuing, the statement went further to state:
"The event which was attended by the who is who in the society had top dignitaries including the Speaker of the Ogun State House Assembly, Hon.Suraju Adekunbi, while the Paramount Ruler of Iwerekun land, Otunba Muniru Elemoro, was also represented.
The Executive Secretary, Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mr Olufemi Adewole, the Chairman, Lagos Chapter of NUPENG, Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, Senior Management Staff of the company, families members, friends and well-wishers were also in attendance."

The company had, a few weeks ago, marked the fifth-year remembrance the late Chief Gbemisola who, in his lifetime, was a selfless philanthropist and socialite.
He had pioneered one of the biggest retail distribution petroleum firm before his demise but due to the dexterity of his son, the brand has continued to wax stronger under his leadership as it has grown in leaps and bounds.
