Jose Mourinho: Manchester United manager writes letter to long life club supporter with stroke
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wrote a letter to an ill Lifelong club supporter who is recovering from stroke.
The United boss took time out of his busy schedule preparing for the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur to give his best to the 94-year-old.
Fred Lifelong supporter Fredrick Schofield has been a Manchester United all his life and at the age of 94 he is recuperating after a stroke, hence Mourinho reached out to him after he was informed of the situation.
Mourinho started off in his later by showing gratitude to Fred for his dedication to the club, he then assured that him, his players and all Manchester United staff are thinking of him.
'We have recently been advised about all your wonderful dedication to Manchester United,'
'I just wanted to write to you to thank you for your loyal support and devotion to the club. The enthusiasm of the fans continues to astound me.'
'myself, the players and the staff are all thinking of you' as his family surprised him with the personal note after reaching out to the Red Devils. Mourinho said in his letter
However, Fred's grandson Kevin said he reached out to the club
'United exceeded my expectations here. Football passion in our city is amazing, divides us but can unify us when needed.' Kevin said on Twitter.
Manchester United travel to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, January 31, a game where Alexis Sanchez is expected to make his Premier League debut for the Red Devils since his move from Arsenal.
