Super Eagles: NFF reveal 2018 FIFA World Cup programme

The NFF have unveiled new friendly games, camping programs ahead of World Cup.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have released Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup programme.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group B of the World Cup alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.

To prepare for the World Cup in Russia, the NFF have concluded preparation plans for the Super Eagles.

 

The NFF unveiled this plans to the media at a press conference at the Eko Hotels and Suites on Wednesday, January 17.

Jersey unveil, camping and friendlies

The preparation for the World Cup proper kicks off on Wednesday, February 7 when the NFF will unveil the new Nike jersey in London.

 

Next up is the friendly game against Poland which will hold in Warsaw on Friday, March 23.

Four days later, the Super Eagles will then travel to London to face Serbia in another friendly game on Tuesday, March 27.

The first phase of camping ahead of the World Cup will be in Abuja, Nigeria from Tuesday, May 22 to Wednesday, May 30.

 

In between the first phase of camping, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will play DR Congo in another friendly game on May, January 28.

The World Cup contingent will then head to London for the friendly game against England on Saturday, June 2.

The same night, the NFF will hold a sponsor and partners event in London.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will continue another phase of camping, this time in Austria from Sunday, June 3 to Monday, June 11.

Nigeria’s next friendly will be against the Czech Republic in Austria on Wednesday, June 6 before another warm-up game against a yet to be identified South American team on Tuesday, June 9.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will then head to their World Cup in Yessentuki Russia before they kick off their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign on Saturday, June 16 against Croatia.

Second Phase camping in Austria: Sunday, June 3 to Monday, June 11.                     

Friendly Vs Czech Republic in Austria: Wednesday, June 6.

Friendly Vs TBC in Austria: Tuesday, June 9

Close camp at team base camp in Yessentuki: Sunday, June 3 to Monday, June 11.
