Ezekiel Henty: Nigerian Striker completes loan move to Puskás Akadémia
Henty’s loan move to the Hungarian first division outfit is for a duration of six months.
Nigerian striker Ezekiel Henty has completed a loan move to Hungarian first division outfit Puskás Akadémia from Videoton.
Henty’s loan move to fellow Hungarian outfit is for a duration of six months.
The Nigerian forward rejected a move away from Hungary to Slovakian outfit Slovan Bratislava, and becomes the fourth recruit by Puskás Akadémia after the earlier arrivals of Slovenians Denis Klinar and Dejan Trajkovski, and Spanish player Diego Gonzalo.
Henty in an interview with the club’s website said “I am happy to be at the Puskás Academy until the end of the season, even more so that I do not have to play against Denis Klinar, but with him in a team because he is a very technical and quick defender.”
The 24-year-old also took to Twitter to announce the switch, “I am happy to have joined this very ambitious club. The PUSKAS Academy. #Newchallenge.”
Henty has played for several clubs across Europe, which include AC Milan, Spezia, Perugia, Nova Gorica, and Olimpija Ljubljana.
The bulky forward could make his debut when Puskás Akadémia take on Zalaegerszegi on Monday, February 19.
