#WomanCrushWednesday: Everyone loves Chidinma, Nigeria's talented songstress
On this lovely Wednesday, Chidinma Ekile, the sensational singer graces our headlines.
Hey guys, it's a beautiful Wednesday again and as usual, we will be crushing on another amazing lady and this time we are talking about the one and only Chidinma Ekile.
Chidinma Ekile was born on May 2nd, 1991 in Ketu, Kosofe in Lagos state to a family of nine. She is the sixth of seven children. Chidnma who is originally from Imo state grew up in Lagos state where she had her primary and secondary school education.
Prior to music, Chidinma worked as a business promoter in Lagos before auditioning for the third season of Project Fame West Africa. She was among the 8,000 or so contestants who went on to showcase their talents that year. Subsequently, Chidinma advanced to the Fame Academy round alongside 17 other contestants.

On 26 September 2010, Chidinma was announced as the winner of the competition. She won several prizes, including ₦2.5 million, a 2011 Toyota RAV4, and an album production deal. In May 2013, Chidinma signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria.
Chidinma started working on her debut studio album, Chidinma, after releasing a collaborative project with other season 3 finalists of Project Fame West Africa.
On 22 February 2011, she released the singles "Jankoliko" featuring Sound Sultan, and "Carry You Go" from the album. On 11 October 2011, Chidinma released "Kedike" as the album's third single. That song became an instant hit which saw Chidinma headline a lot of shows and concerts.
Since then, Chidnma has gone on to become one of Nigeria's biggest talents, featuring in a number of collaborations with other big musicians in the country. Romantically, Chidinma has been linked with quite a number of celebrities including, VJ Adams, Flavour and most recently, Nollywood actor, Ademola Adedoyin.
