Aleksandar Prijovic: Serbian striker urges team to defeat Super Eagles

Serbian striker Aleksandar Prijovic has urged his teammates to defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria when both sides meet in a friendly encounter on Tuesday, March 27.
Prijovic who is among the players called up for the friendly expects the clash with the Eagles to be a tough one.
Serbia lost to Morocco in a friendly encounter on Friday, March 23 and Prijovic has called on his teammates to bounce back against Nigeria.
Speaking to the Serbia Football Association website Prijovic said the game against Nigeria would be a good test for them to recover from defeat.
“Nigeria is a team that deserves respect, they are physically strong, definitely it will be a good test for us,” Prijovic said.
The 27-year-old represented Switzerland at age grade levels but chose to play for Serbia in 2017.
The PAOK striker also said that he and his fellow teammates will do everything to get a positive result from the encounter.
“We will do everything to win, we will give the maximum to score better than in the previous match.
“The general outcome is not primary because it is important to fix some things, but in football, it is always good to come out with a win in every game you played. It is important for us to win and achieve a positive result.” He said.
The Super Eagles take on Serbia on after grinding out a gritty win against Poland on Friday, March 23.
