The Flying Eagles will play Sierra Leone or Guinea Bissau in the AFCON U-20 qualifiers.

Nigeria's Under 20 men's team (Flying Eagles) are in Egypt for a two-match friendly tour in preparation for the 2019 African U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Flying Eagles who will face either Sierra Leone or Guinea Bissau in the qualification series are in Egypt to intensify preparations for the upcoming encounter.

Nigeria missed out on the U-20 Nations Cup and FIFA under 20 World Cup in 2017, and head coach Paul Aigbogun will use the tour of Egypt to take a good look at some fresh players invited to the team.

2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) stars invited into the team include Elkanemi's Nur Mohammed, Eneji Moses of Plateau United and Enyimba's Ikouwem Utin are part the players invited by Aigbogun.

Semi-finalists at the African Under 20 competition will represent the continent at the FIFA under 20 World Cup in 2019.

Nigeria has never lifted the FIFA under 20 World Cup but got to the final at the 1989 and 2005 editions.
