Akin Omotoso's "Colour of Wine" captures the changing face of the South African wine industry.

Documentary filmmakers and enthusiasts attended the premiere of Akin Omotoso's "The Colour of Wine" at the 2018 edition of IRep International   Documentary Film Festival.

The documentary, which captures the changing face of the South African wine industry, screened as a special prelude to the eighth edition of the festival, which officially opened today, March 22, 2018.

The premiere was held at Freedom Park, Lagos, which has been home to the festival since it kicked off in 2010. Actors and filmmakers such as Ramsey Nouah, Femi Odugbemi, Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Ade Bantu, Toyin Oshinaike, Tope Oshin, Omoye Uzamere and Bikiya Graham Douglas were in attendance.

 

The 2018 edition of the festival builds on the momentum from past editions, especially last year's, and explores the theme: 'Archiving Africa II: Frontiers and New Narratives.

iRepresent   International   Documentary   Film Festival is the prime documentary-only film festival on the coast of West  Africa.

 

Since 2011, the festival has brought together the brightest minds in the genre in Nigeria and other parts of the world to showcase their works and as well share experiences through screenings, panel discussions, ‘Producers’ Roundtable’, training, workshops, and networking.

The 2018 edition of the film festival will hold from March 22 -March 25.
