NFF add former Nigeria internationals to the newly formed Technical Study Group

Nigeria's football body have added former Super Eagles players Austin Jay Jay Okocha and Victor Agali into the newly constituted Technical Study group.

Amaju Melvin Pinnick President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Tuesday, February 27 inaugurated a newly formed Technical Study Group and Audit Committee at the Football body's secretariat, Abuja.

The NFF President labelled the two newly formed committees as “critical panels that have much to contribute to Nigerian Football’s development.”

Pinnick also discussed about the responsibilities of the Technical group, which includes other legendary footballers such as Tijani Babangida and Taribo West.

The groups duty will be to collating, analysing and putting at the disposal of the Federation, data and new thinking that can enhance the rapid development of the Nigeria game.

Pinnick said, “The Audit Committee will complement the efforts of our external auditors, PriceWaterHouse Coopers and much is expected of them.”

Present at the inauguration of the committees were NFF Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme; Mr. Taribo West (Vice Chairman, TSG); Mr. James Peters (Member, TSG); Coach Bitrus Bewarang (Technical Director); Ademola Olajire (Director of Communications); Suleiman Tegina (Deputy Director, Audit) and; Tunde Aderibigbe (Head of Protocol).
