Peter Michael: Nigerian forward signs for Valerenga in Norway
Peter Michael who was the top scorer in the 2016 edition of the Federation's Cup has now moved to Norway.
Nigerian forward Peter Godly Michael has signed for Norwegian topflight outfit Valerenga .
Peter who finished as the top scorer in the 2016 Federations Cup, has signed a four year deal at Valerenga which will run out by 2021.
In a statement on the clubs official website Sports director of Valerenga Jørgen Ingebrigtsen praised the qualities of the Nigerian forward.
He said, "Peter has made a very good impression both as player and person during the period he has been here. He is instructive, has a violent physique, scores goals and has also slipped very well into the group. We strongly believe that this will be good both for himself and the club."
Peter also expressed his delight upon completion of the move to Norway after trials in Belgium.
He said, "That's what I've been working for all the time, and I'm very pleased to have signed for VÃ¥lerenga. I've done my best all the way, and I'll keep doing."
Peter who was born on the 10th of May 1998 is expected to be make his competitive debut for Valerenga when they take on Kristiansund in the season opener on Monday, March 12th.
The youngster joins compatriots Afeez Aremu, Michael Ogungbaro, Akeem Latifu, Ike Ogbu and Daniel Chima Chukwu who moved to Norway recently.
