The Super Eagles have been in camp since Tuesday, March 20 when they started arriving in Wroclaw ahead of the friendly game against Poland and Serbia.

After the 1-0 win over Poland on Friday, March 23, the Super Eagles camp has moved to London ahead of the friendly game against Serbia at The Hive Stadium on Tuesday, March 27.

All through the one week, they have now spent in camp, several videos have emerged of social media which show them singing and dancing.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have the youngest squad that will be competing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, guys in tune with Pop culture all over the world.

As such, all the songs that have been heard from camp are the records in the crux of Nigerian pop culture and indeed all over the world.

From play initiations to private room hangouts to the team bus en route matches and training, the Super Eagles are always party ready, singing and dancing in unison.

Why Super Eagles players love dancing and singing in camp

According to Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo, the singing and dancing in camp foster unity and solidarity among the players.

“It’s good feelings, that’s one of those things we always do when we are in camp” Ighalo told BBC journalist John Bennett.

“We do like family, brothers, we always try to be happy and get the job going.

“Things like this keep the bond together and make us unite and fight for each for the last minute.”

The best dancers in the squad are between John Ogu and Kelechi Iheanacho who have been seen dancing the popular ‘Shaku-Shaku’ dance style.

Iheanacho is also the chorus leader in the team bus, leading the squad in local praise and worship songs.

Alex Iwobi is the leader of the cool kids in camp with trap records from Migos and Future bumping from his hotel room and earpiece.

It was Iwobi who gave defender Chidozie Awaziem the nickname ‘Naija Chris Brown’ because of his dyed hair.
