Chelsea's new away kit is a throwback to their title winning attire in the 2014/15 season.

Chelsea have released their away jerseys for the 2018/19 season with star player Eden Hazard modelling the strip despite an uncertainty about his future.

The Belgium international was instrumental for his country as the finished in third place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and was voted the second best player of the tournament.

He modelled the new attire which is a throwback to the recent away jerseys used by the current FA Cup holders.

The new kit was announced by the Chelsea Twitter handle with a message 'yellow is back' which reminds the clubs supporters of their title-winning away strip in the 2014/15 season.

The previous kit was made by Adidas and was recreated by international sportswear giants Nike.

The new kit will be available for £90 and will be debuted by the players on Saturday, July 28 when they take on Inter MIlan.

Modelling the new strip were Gary Cahill, 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Ngolo Kante as well as Hazard who stated after the tournament that he could leave Stamford Bridge after six years.

He said, “Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go.”

The 27-year-old is earlier stated that he was happy at Chelsea despite links to European champions Real Madrid.

Following his performance at the World Cup ad the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, he links to Spain have again resurfaced.

He did not travel with the Chelsea squad to Australia for their pre-season tour, he is on an extended break, while Maurizio Sarri has stated his intent to keep him.
