Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is enjoying his break relaxing on the beach ahead of the 2018/19 football season.
Salah was instrumental for Liverpool as they finished fourth in the Premier League and got to the final of the 2018 UEFA Champions League.
The 26-year-old went on to represent Egypt at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where they were knocked out in the group stage.
At the tournament, Salah could not take part in Egypt’s opening game defeat to Uruguay due to an injury he suffered in the Champions League final against Real Madrid
He was fit to play in the second game for Egypt and scored but it was not enough as they lost to host Russia.
In their last group game against Saudi Arabia, Salah was again on target but was unable to prevent their third consecutive defeat.
Salah, however, has taken to the beach to recharge his batteries ahead of the new season.
The multiple award winner and league top scorer posted a picture of him in a relaxed mood on his official Twitter account.
Salah was wearing a Panama hat, with swimming trunks as he posed to take the pictures.
The forward is expected to join up for Liverpool’s upcoming preseason fixtures in the United States after his extended break.
