Here are 10 new songs you need to listen to this week.
1. Demmie Vee - 'Tiff'
Demmie Vee has released a new one for 2018 titled, 'Tiff'.
Coming six months after dropping the video to his last single, 'Figure 8', Demmie Vee makes a return with this new love tune.
The single 'Tiff' produced by Antras, seemingly derives inspiration from the 2016 hit song, 'Mama' by Kiss Daniel and delivers a smooth blend of Afropop and RnB.
The lyrics mostly rendered in Pidgin sees him profess his love to his lady with an infectious hook.
2. Teffy - 'Gyrate' x BOJ
Teffy teams up with talented DRB singer, BOJ on his new single titled, 'Girate'.
The 3 minute long song delightfully captures the tale of their love chase of a girl who is out for just a night of fun, with BOJ's vocals doing different levels of madness on this.
The song is produced by ToyeAru.
3. Nonso Bassey - '411 ADM Remix' x Sigag
Universal Music artist and The Voice Nigeria finalist, Nonso Bassey is out with his ADM Remix to his debut single, '411'.
The song which tells a story of love and heartbreak is given a fresh vibe with this electronic sound that features world renowned music producer, Sigag Lauren.
With Nonso's vocals richly laid on this, the outcome is explosive and an instant favourite.
4. Lumina - 'Light of the World' feat. Phrance
Talented female artist, Lumina has released a very introspective and stimulating conscious song; titled ‘Light of the World’.
With the production laced with rock and hip-hop instrumentals, ‘Light of the World’ sees Lumina featuring Phrance finesse her wordplay effortlessly, with well laid flows, while passing a meaningful message with each bar she spits.
Armed with an awe-inspiring chorus that states, “We are the light of the world. Your light shines through us. We’re gonna change the world; one step at a time”.
5. Kelvin Boj - 'Kiss Me'
Ace producer/artist 'Kelvin Boj' returns with new music 'Kiss Me Kiss Me', from his forth-coming debut album, 'Man On A Mission' due out soon.
The self produced song is the first official single this year as he gears up to the release of a full body of work.
6. Sweetz - 'My Ting'
Singer/songwriter Musulyn Myers, who goes by the stage name Sweetz is out with her new single, 'My Ting'.
The singer who says she is constructing her own lane, delivers his Afro-Caribbean tune, armed with the right melody as she conveys the message that all her possessions, including her man, belongs exclusively to her.
'My Ting' has a delightful vibe to it, as she declares, “Africa is up next, and it’s time I expose a little more of what we have to offer musically to the world.''
7. MCskill Tha Preacha - 'Listen to the kids' feat. Justina Lee Brown
Rapper MCskill ThaPreacha alongside Switzerland based Nigerian singer/performer, Justina Lee Brown, rise to address tensions in parents/children dreams and career choices on his new single, 'Listen to the Kids'.
The song sees the rapper tell stories with his verses as he paints a vivid picture of what happens when parents fail to listen to their kids.
'Listen to the Kids' was produced by his regular beat maker, Stormatique.
8. Zarion Uti - 'Aye' feat. PsychoYP
Zarion Uti collaborates with PsychoYP on this banger they call, 'Aye'.
After successfully releasing his first single of the year, 'Finito', which featured on Deezer's Official Afropop Playlist amongst others. US based Nigerian artist, Zarion Uti is out with his second collaboration project featuring UK based rapper PsychoYP.
'Aye' is a catchy trap record that showcases the confidence of both artists who strive to send a message on their aspirations through melodic and high energy deliveries.
“Shey You Dey Tell Me Say All The Hustle Wey I Hustle Na For Nothing?” Zarion Uti sings over piano-led instrumentals brilliantly complimented by Psycho YP's rap.
9. Krizbeatz - 'Makeke'
Krizbeatz teams up with girl dance group, GGB to deliver an energetic and entertaining visuals for his club banging joint, 'Makeke' off his debut album, ADM (Afro Dance Music).
'Makeke' is a Swahili word for "Stubborn" and the visuals was shot in Lagos and directed by Mr C.
10. Eddy Lanky - 'Gentleman'
Fast rising talent, Edward Ngbodi, also known as Eddy Lanky has released the fresh visuals to his Afrobeat joint, 'Gentleman'.
With a tone of funk and the signature Afrocentric look of the dancers, Eddy Lanky brings the right energy to take you straight into the spiritual world of Afrobeat.
The video is directed by Davies Den.

Afro-Fusion Artist, Tim Lyre releases a new single 'Supplier' featuring July Drama.

Leriq - Luv.Wav
Talented producer/singer and songwriter Leriq is out with his solo debut EP, titled, ''Luv. Wav''.
The producer who has worked on a number of projects with Burna Boy and Wande Coal has finally put out a body of work that has him displaying the singing side to his art.
'Luv.Wav' contains 6 songs themed around love and the production is top notch on every song.
