Tennis star Serena Williams has accused anti-doping officials of discriminating against her because of regular impromptu testing.
Serena was made to do a random drug test on Wednesday and the tennis star was not happy about it.
She claimed that she is being discriminated against but vowed to do whatever it takes to keep the sport clean.
“...and it’s that time of the day to get “randomly” drug tested and only test Serena. Out of all the players it’s been proven I’m the one getting tested the most. Discrimination? I think so. At least I’ll be keeping the sport clean #StayPositive,” the 36-year-old wrote on Twitter.
“But I’m ready to do whatever it takes to have a clean sport so bring it on. I’m excited.”
Serena has always complained about the number of random drug test she has been asked to do.
During the recent Wimbledon, she declared that she does not care how often she is tested for banned substances as long as other players are treated in the same way.
