Tottenham: Kane, Alli model new jersey for Premier League side
Tottenham finally reveal new home and away jersey for 2018/19 season.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli modelled the kits for Premier League outfit Tottenham which were officially released on Thursday, July 19.
The Tottenham home and away jerseys were designed by international sportswear giants Nike.
The new home jersey is maintained on the identifiable white strips of the Spurs but with a spiral faded blue design at the end of the shirt which transitions into the shorts.
A similar design is used for the away strip which is a combination of two shades of blue.
A statement on the Nike website explains the designs, “The home jersey, with striking lily-white and navy blue print, is combined with navy blue shorts and blue and white socks in a subtle reference to the architecture of the new ground.
“For the away kit, binary blue and polarised blue knit sleeves reinforce the team's heritage and values as they pay homage to the secondary blue used in many past kits.”
The kits were unveiled through a series of post on the clubs official Twitter account as it unveiled both the home and away kits.
A video also uploaded showed the players wearing the kit as they prepare to go back to their home ground.
After spending last season at Wembley the new kits will mark the return of Tottenham to their new stadium which is almost completed and is expected to host Liverpool on Saturday, September 15.
